Pen Pals

Being the owner of a stationery business, it's kind of sad how seldom I send out good old snail mail. I recently found myself in the middle of a pen pal relationship with one of my interweb friends and realized how rare (and FUN!) it is to get something in the mail, just because.

I recently designed some personalized stationery for myself to use for this purpose, or even to include in orders from repeat customers (who I feel like have become my friends!). They are perfect for writing a quick note to say hello, or thank you. After posting them on Instagram I got some requests for custom orders so I added them in my shop as well!
I thought it would be fun to open up the pen pal game across the board. Anyone wanna join?

I'm off to finish up some Mother's Day cards that have been waiting to be done for weeks now. I don't know why but the last few weeks have been so weird, new, busy, exciting. My calendar has been pretty full (I rarely use my phone calendar so when I start "penciling things in" you know I'm having trouble keeping track). I'm lovin it. Not McDonalds. Although I do love that too. But I've been staying away since I'm trying to be on a health kick for operation wedding in 44 days.

Tangent.

I have to go.

Talk soon! xo JA

Those Sharpie pens are my favorite but I didn't use one to jot your note. Sending mail!

  4. I've always been alllll about snail mail, so this is right up my alley. (: I don't know what it is about it, but it brightens up my day every time I see something in the mail with my name on it!

I used to be pen pals with my cousin in Minnesota when we were kids. It was always so much fun to get a letter in the mail.

  14. So, McDonald's. I haven't had McDonald's in probably ... a year? Several months? Something like that. Their McMuffins are actually pretty decent, haha! And, sometimes, you just REALLY want a greasy hamburger patty. You really do.

Joining! Look out for something from Kenya! Please send back.
You should do a specialized post for the pen pal game with people who want to send and receive snail mail to write their addresses in the comments ;-)
