The Weekend

Happy Monday! Man, what a good weekend. Just the right mix of work, play and relaxation. I have been feeling incredibly happy lately. I'm constantly reminding myself to not take anything for granted.

I'm still in full-blown "prepare for two Renegade Craft Fairs two weekends in a row" mode. That said, I still got to enjoy some pool time, bike rides, Bloody Marys and time with J. Here are some peeks into our weekend:
Getting some work done! The office is where I do 90% of my work these days.
I made this picture frame for J forever ago. This was one of the first photos taken of us when we first started dating, almost 4 years ago. It was at a Paramore concert (hence the song lyrics).
I found this vintage spice holder when I was thrift shopping during a blog conference with Erika, Leonora, and Illy. It's sitting on a shelf in my kitchen and it always reminds me of the fun we had that day. I hope we get the chance to do it again!
Obligatory Penny photo!! Do you know I've been cutting back on Instagram photos of Penny and people are requesting more photos of her? I guess she IS pretty damn cute though huh? We took her for a really long bike ride on Sunday and tired her hyper ass out!
No weekend with J would be complete without a Bloody Mary, or four. He loves them. You know what else he loves? (Besides me) Salt. That's why I was so excited to share the seasoning salt my sponsor, Uncle Bob's Salts sent me. We put the "original" salt flavor on the rims of our Bloody Marys this weekend and it was so good! It was salty with a bit of a bbq flavor to it. Mmmm! What I love most about Uncle Bob's Salts is the story. Aukele, the owner, has carried down the famous seasoning salt recipe of her grandfather. In each order she includes the backstory of how she obtained the secret recipe for herself. Her salt line is full of variety, so whether you like spice, bbq or garlic, there's something for you! Aukele is offering 15% off for JAA readers with the coupon code JULIEANNART!
And what better to pair a Bloody mary with than a massive egg sandwich? J was extremely proud of this concoction and wanted me to take a photo. Looks pretty nomnom, huh?

Did you do anything fun this weekend? xo JA
