Simple Nail Art Tutorials

Guess what I'm doing this weekend! Making my nails all pretty. :] Thanks to Refinery29, I got inspired by their simple, yet unique, nail art tutorials. I've seen some really crazy (too over-the-top for me) nail art online but I would totally rock each of these nail looks.
I would've loved to try one of these tutorials out so I could show you my own personal outcome. But by the time I get home from work, package Etsy orders, cook dinner...I'm painting my nails at 10 p.m. and I will inevitably end up with sheet imprints on my nails in the morning! Maybe I should get one of those quick dry sprays. Anyone use those before? Anyways, so I'm waiting until this weekend to "make" my nail art but I'll be sure to share when it's done. I'm thinking polka dots. Or chevron? Tough decision. ;]

  1. I looove those! especially the top one. I haven't used quick dry spray but that sounds like a fantastic idea. And I'm guilty of trying to paint my nails while sitting in bed before I go to sleep... never works.

  3. I've used the quick dry spray from Avon. Forget the name. Works great!

  4. Sheet imprints on my nails are the bane of my existence. It seems like no matter how hard I try to let them dry (or how late I stay up watching romantic comedies with that intention) they end up smushed the next morning : (

  5. That last one made me stop and drool, so gorgeous and my favorite colors together!!! Blue and black!!!

These are all gorgeous though and I am crazy for polish and nail art. Also, did you say quick dry spray?! I MUST look into this! I despise slow drying nail polishes!

  8. I HIGHLY recommend Avon's smudge corrector...I end up with sheet imprints all the time, one quick swipe with the corrector and it looks salon worthy.

Soak off gel polish is awesome since it cures and is instantly dry after curing. :)
