A new creative challenge.

Next week, Jordan and I are road tripping up to Monterey, California for our friend's wedding. Jordan is the wedding videographer, which makes me a wedding videographer's assistant. Our friends are really trying to make it a point that they want us to enjoy the wedding and not "work" the whole time, but I'm actually really excited about having a new creative challenge. We are going to give it nothing but 100%!

I have never shot video before, but I like to think that I have a creative eye. And working at a studio that made wedding videos for three years has to have given me a little idea of what to do, right? Jordan has shot and edited video for a long time, as a hobby.

Here's the video Jordan made of our Hawaii trip for his Mom's birthday:

(Aaahhh makes me miss Hawaii every time I watch it!)

And this is a mix of footage from the times Jordan had living in Laguna Beach.

He is very talented and I think with the two of us working together, we're going to come up with something really special for the bride and groom.

On top of this, I'm just excited for the road trip up there! We are taking next Friday off work so we have the whole day to drive and explore, stopping in towns we haven't been to before. I love a good road trip, especially when we have the time to take it easy and make stops along the way. I'm excited!
