Michigan Bound

Well today I am on my way to Michigan! I would be more excited if I wasn't flying. Alone. With a layover. I'm not exactly the happiest passenger on the plane if you know what I mean. It sucks that my flying anxiety gets in the way of my excitement of seeing friends and family. As soon as I land in Detroit I will be happy!

I really don't know what the plan is for the next couple days. See my family. See my friends. It's hard to plan everything out and literally pencil everyone in for the day and time I will see them. But at the same time it's also necessary in order to see everyone I want to in such a short, busy, period of time.

The hardest thing about my move to California was (and is) being away from the most important people in my life. There have been so many times I've wanted to just sit on the couch and watch a chick flick with a girl friend from home. While we have the phone, and Skype even, I miss them so so much all the time. Being away has made me value their friendship even more, because it has stayed as strong as ever, despite living in different states.
